UPDATE: GIVEAWAY IS OVER AND WINNERS HAVE BEEN EMAILED
GET YOUR COPY FROM AMAZON!!!
This anthology contains the first three novelettes/novellas of the series. Each of these books focuses on vampire Bastian Evanko, starting over two hundred years ago in England with Nothing Lasts Forever and the tragic series of events that triggered his desire for retribution and earned him the punishment of two hundred years in exile.
Fast forward to present day Lansford, PA: The Sin City of the East. The remaining stories take place in and around Lansford. Nocturnal Surrender is the reunion of Bastian and his brother Donovan, as well as his meeting, and biting, stripper Darling Nikki. Tension mounts as Bastian looks to exact his revenge, but he gets a little sidetracked by the possibility of falling in love again.
Just when Bastian feels secure in his budding relationship with Nicole French, AKA Darling Nikki, she stumbles upon the secret of his vampiric identity in Midnight Confessions. To make matters worse, Donovan needs Bastian’s help in the war with the vampire Hunters. Only problem is, Nicole gets dragged into the mix. Many secrets are exposed after midnight.
In the bonus short story, Auburn Lust, twin courtesan vampires Rochelle and Laureline Montague entertain two of their favorite vampire clients for the evening: Christof Rosenbaum and Donovan Evanko. Emotions and lust run wild in this erotic story.
And in another bonus, Interview with Bastian, the vampire lets it all hang out since this is the uncensored, extended version of his interview. At times he shares a little too much information, but then he does prefer to live by his own rules.

After two hundred years in exile, vampire Bastian Evanko has come back to earn his brother’s respect and plot revenge against the vampire who murdered his fiancée, Elise. In Lansford, PA, The Sin City of the East, Bastian must fight his rebellious nature and learn to control his impulsiveness so he is no longer considered a scourge on the Evanko name. When he asks for a private dance, and a bite, from stripper Darling Nikki, he gets far more than he bargains for—including another chance at love. But even the love of a beautiful woman isn’t enough to sate his need for retribution.
Nicole French simply wants to learn how to live in her new town, come to terms with stripping to pay the bills, and make it through law school without having a breakdown over the painful memories she hides. Having a man in her life is the last thing she needs, but when Bastian Evanko asks for a private dance, and to drink her blood, she ends up with more than just a freaky customer. Things heat up quickly in the private room with the sexy stranger. Only problem is, he likes to pretend he’s a vampire and suck down human blood.
To make matters worse, a war is brewing between vampires and Hunters. And after losing Elise because of her vampire Hunter brother, can Bastian take the risk of bringing Nicole into his life? But, on the other hand, can he pass up another chance at love?
This novella is approximately 21,576 words.
Today I’d like to welcome Louisa Bacio to my blog. She’s talking about one of my favorite subjects: Vampires. But that’s not all you’ll find in her books… Take it away Louisa!
The “Un” Vampire
After finishing the novella Mirabella’s Mardi Gras Ménage, I reflected on the “humanizing” of my vampire character, Nick. Does he truly have vampiric characteristics?
In the erotic series The Vampire, The Witch & The Werewolf, the paranormals are called The Others. With the vampires, there are those who fit in within society. Most might consider them odd – with abnormal hours and a seductive quality – and then there are the Rogues, those who hunt to appease blood lust and see humans as prey.
The clashing world of The Others plays heavier in some books more than others. For Mirabella’s Mardi Gras Ménage, the story primarily deals with the title’s namesake, Mirabella, who is the niece of the Quarter’s Voodoo Queen.
While the hero character Nick doesn’t go out on a feeding frenzy, sucking the lifeforce from every moving creature, this story features more of his internal soul searching. He needs to discover his true nature, and come to grips with his self-worth: Ultimately, does he deserve to love?
Tell me: How do you like your vampires? A little bit naughty? With a conscious and a soul?
Thanks so much for hosting me today. Look forward to your visit later this month!
Mirabella’s Mardi Gras Ménage
Constantly under the watchful eye of her Voodoo priestess aunt, Mirabella longs to break free during the events of Mardi Gras. Escapades draw her into the arms of Marguerite, a fiery redhead with a passion for life, and Nick, a familiar vampire who’s haunted by his transformation and past.
What starts as a new experience – a Mardi Gras Ménage – soon turns deadly, and none of their lives will ever be the same.

This month I released a new novelette and a short story, both are part of my Nocturnal Surrender Series.
MIDNIGHT CONFESSIONS:
Nicole French is fed up with only seeing her boyfriend, Bastian, at the sanguinarian club Nocturnal Surrender, where he always wears his prosthetic fangs and vampire contacts. When she pays him a surprise visit, and he answers the door half-naked and wet from showering, she can’t help taking advantage of the situation. But when her sexual advances send him bolting from her, she is stunned and concerned.
Bastian Evanko isn’t ready to reveal his secret to Nicole, to tell her he truly is a vampire. But when she gets him too aroused to hide the monster inside, he decides to confess all. Unfortunately, before he can explain things properly, his brother Donovan calls, demanding his presence to handle vampire business. Nicole is suddenly along for the ride, and Bastian gives her a crash course in all things vampiric. Will she be able to handle being thrown into a strange new world? Or will she betray him as his fiancée did two hundred years ago?
As if that isn’t enough to deal with, Donovan confronts Bastian about the recklessness of bringing Nicole into their world too soon and more confessions are made. First between the brothers, and later between Bastian and Nicole. All hide deep pain and guilt, and they all need to confess their secrets to find peace of mind. But will they be able to salvage their relationships or will their confessions tear them apart?
Approximately 16,525 words.
AUBURN LUST:
Twin courtesan vampires Rochelle and Laureline Montague entertain two of their favorite vampire clients for the evening: Christof Rosenbaum and Donovan Evanko.
Rochelle and Christof have been meeting for centuries but lately the intimacy between them has crossed the line and become personal. Will Rochelle be able to keep her professional boundaries in place or will she give in to her emotions?
Laureline and Donovan’s rendezvous is much less emotional and far rougher, but that’s how they like it. Although, she can’t let Donovan leave after just one time around—even when he is summoned by his Enforcer boss.
In the end, both men are consumed by the auburn-haired beauties in one way or another, and there is no doubt both will be back for more.
Approximately 6,991 words.

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to have a vampire for my Valentine—or maybe a few different vamps.
What is it about vampires that makes me love them so much? I think I’ll leave it to my favorite actor—who also happened to play my favorite vampire, other than my own—Alex O’Loughlin because I couldn’t explain it any better than he did.
“I’ve always been obsessed with the genre, and the beautiful romanticism and erotic kind of nature of the immortal being, the undead who lives on human blood. Just the thought of eternity and us experiencing it, and the fear that brings up in my heart when I think of it.”
“I’ve always been enamored with the shameless sensuality within the genre, unlike any other genre. And, also, the shameless excess to which these creatures live, and how deeply vampires feel, sensoraly. Their senses are heightened. If you were to compare a vampire to an animal, I would think it would probably be a cat, on a lot of levels, with the touch and smell. They’re so sensitive, especially when they morph. I’ve always loved that.”
I just had to include this next quote of his about him playing a vampire on Moonlight.
“As an actor, you have to get over yourself … so you don’t judge the characters you play or the scenarios you find yourself in. I’m forever finding my mouth on men’s necks or wrists, and yes, it is bizarre, but I am used to it.”
So yes, it is that shameless sensuality and everything else Alex explained that makes me love vampires. Besides the vamp Alex played, Mick St. John, some of my other favorites are Lestat de Lioncourt, Henry Fitzroy, and Eric Northman. I’ll take all four of them for my Valentines, but if I have to choose just one, it would be Mick.
Now for the giveaway and my vampires. I’m giving away 3 eBook copies of my newest novelette, Midnight Confessions. This is the third book in my Nocturnal Surrender Series. UPDATE: THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED.

UPDATE: THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW OVER!
Heartbreakers. Bad boys. What is it we love so much about them? Something tells me this is a question women will be asking themselves forever.
We know they’re not good for us, but deep down we hope we’ll be the one to change them, the one they fall in love with. We believe somewhere inside them is a good man, right? Okay, maybe in the real world this doesn’t work out very often, but in the world of romance novels it does. I suppose that’s why we devour those novels so veraciously.
Maybe that’s why I have such an obsession with vampires. Talk about bad boy heartbreakers. I mean come on, who could break your heart more than someone who has a tendency to kill people by drinking their blood? Yet many of us love them for that good man underneath the monster—and in turn, we overlook the monster. The heartbreaker.
I remember the first heartbreaker I had a crush on when I was a little girl, Fonzie on Happy Days. I only went downhill from there. As a teen and young adult I wanted Axl Rose. You can’t get more heartbreaker than that. I guess I’ve grown out of that, except for my vampire issues, because I crush on mostly good guys now–Alex O’Loughlin in particular. But for old times, how about a picture of Axl?
Yes, there is a certain reason I chose this pic. It is one of my favorites of it–I mean, of him. And let’s please ignore pics of him today. I prefer the older ones when he was hot and bad as hell.
So now that I’ve grown out of my bad boy stage–maybe–I write about bad boys that can be redeemed—sort of. I guess a vampire can’t really ever be good unless he turns into a “vegetarian.” We won’t even go there. Not badass at all. And a heartbreaker must be badass.
Okay, so I spilled a little about my heartbreaker crushes. What about you? What characters or celebrity bad boys have you fallen for?

In 1812 England, after nearly eight centuries of immortal life, Bastian Evanko has finally found the woman he wants to spend forever with. Now he is ready to reveal his secret to her, to tell her he is a vampire. But past experience has shown him mortal women may not be able to accept him for what he is. He’s had his share of heartbreak and is hoping this time will be different.
Elise McNeil loves Bastian with all her heart and can’t wait to share her life with him, to have a family with him. But when he shows her the monster he hides inside, she is devastated because he lied to her the entire time he courted her. She is unsure if she can trust him, but more importantly, she believes he may be evil and incapable of loving her as he claims to.
As if their situation isn’t complicated enough, Elise has a secret of her own. Her brother Jacob is a vampire Hunter.
