Things are moving along quicker than I had expected with the next book in the series – so far. Let’s hope this keeps up.
I finished the revisions three weeks earlier than I had planned, and I was able to get it to the editor two weeks earlier than originally scheduled.
I believe that is a first for me. Normally, I run over my estimated time. Yay me!
I’m waiting to hear back from the editor to see how soon she thinks she’ll be done with the first round of edits, but I don’t think she’ll have it longer than two to four weeks. Again, that’s quicker than my initial expectations. Yay editor!
I’ll spend July – and August if needed – finishing the editing process, so I’m still expecting an early September release.
If you want to read a few unedited excerpts from Night Therapy, you’ll find themHERE.
If you want to get to know the hero, Johnathan McCombs, you’ll find his hero postHERE.
If you want more information about this book – or the others in this series, as well as purchase links, excerpts, and series extras – you’ll find it all HERE.
And for those of you who have read the previous books – and have fallen for Bastian – don’t worry. He has a major role in this book, and will continue to throughout the entire series.
As always, I will give updates on the progress as I write. When I get further into the novel, I’ll begin posting some teaser excerpts, as well.
The hero in this novel is Johnathan’s sire, Alexander Mitchell. He’s a calm and calculating vampire, smooth and charming. Everything he does is sensual, right down to how he drinks blood.
The heroine, Olivia Fournier, was introduced early on in the series, in Nocturnal Surrender. She’s cold and aloof, domineering and independent. And after what happens in Night Therapy, she has a huge chip on her shoulder and a lot to prove.
Their personalities clash. Their approaches to immortal life and how to run the Enforcer teams are completely opposite. Sparks will be flying – in more ways than one.
Plus, the war between vampires and Hunters will begin to intensify. All your favorite vampires from the series will be in jeopardy.
That’s all for now, but I will continue to update you on my progress. Until next time, enjoy the previous books in the series, the excerpts, and the extras at the links above.
So what have you been reading lately? I just finished reading Lover Enshrined by J.R. Ward, and now I’m reading Dark Curse by Christine Feehan.
