Let’s Talk About Sex…Toys

03 Jan

WARNING: This post will have explicit content and pictures and is intended for ADULTS ONLY.

You should know by now I’m all about coming up with new and interesting ways to entertain you. Usually it has to do with hot men and sex. So my new thing is a series of posts about sex. As always, I have many ideas for future posts, but as you can see, this one is about sex toys.

After my post about the stigma of erotica and erotic romance, I decided we needed to talk about sex more openly. And now that sex toys are on the map in a big way with the 50 Shades line, it seems like this is a good topic to begin with.

But oh my, talking about sex toys also means talking about…wait for it…masturbation. Granted, toys are used by couples, but let’s face it, we can be happy using them alone. Of course, toys will never replace the real thing, but they are a good substitute at times.

My two favorite sites to buy sex toys are Adam & Eve and The Rabbit Vibrator. Yes, there are many other sites, but these are my go to sites. On Adam & Eve you can get things a little cheaper and there is much more variety than The Rabbit Vibrator. But I still like to have a REAL rabbit at times instead of a knockoff. Oh, and whenever possible, get the waterproof toys. Everything is much more fun when wet. 😉

Whether you’re into vibrators, dildos, BDSM, or even—dare I say it—anal beads or anything in between, let’s start a conversation and talk about sex toys.

Here are some of my favorites.

Waterproof Jack Rabbit Vibrator
Regular Price: $87.99 Sale Price: $74.88

$18.50 Sale $14.95 Big O Multi-Stage Vibrating Cock Ring

Basix Jelly Egg Vibrator

These are just a few of the ones I like. Some of what I have bought over the years is not on the sites anymore, but you get the idea. The first one is from Rabbit Vibrator and the other two are from Adam & Eve.

By the way, did you know you can get small vibrators and cock rings at Walmart by the condoms? And don’t forget the lube while you’re there.

This is my favorite. It really is that good. 😀

Now it’s your turn. What sites do you use to buy your sex toys? What are your favorite sex toys? What is your favorite lube?

I’m comfortable talking about all this, but then I do write erotic scenes. Are you comfortable talking about sex toys? What about sex in general?

I buy my toys at a store locally, or find sexy shops when on vacation and get my husband to buy them (although he’s starting to realize that once vacation’s over, he hardly ever sees them). Love my vibrating egg, and really love my slim vibe, which is a vibrator with a slim shaft but a flared head. It’s fun in several different places.

For lube, I like Astroglide, it’s cheap and available at walmart, kmart, wherever.

I’m an erotica writer – I masturbate a lot. Like, pretty whenever I have the house to myself (grin). But don’t tell my husband – he’d be jealous.

Hi SM, thanks for stopping by and sharing. I was starting to think no one would be brave enough to.

I wish we had a good local store, but we live out in the country. I need to venture to the big cities more and see what they have to offer. I’m afraid I’d be broke if I did, though. Kind of like when I go into Barnes and Noble. I only intend to buy a few things and leave with hundreds of dollars worth of books. And toys can be more expensive, so I could easily spend that much.

That slim vibe sounds great. I’m crazy about my vibrating egg, too. I’ll have to check out Astroglide.

I won’t tell your husband. We’ll just keep this between the two of us. LOL. 😉
