I just wanted to let everyone know that because of my surgery this week I won’t be responding to comments for a while. I’ll be in the hospital at least two days and will obviously still be recovering when I come home so I don’t think I’ll be on the computer for at least a week or two.
I have scheduled some posts to go live on different days over the next few weeks, but most won’t be quite as involved as I would like due to time constraints. I have a lot of great posts planned for when I get back, though. More posts on Hump Day Heat, my road to publication, and the general craziness I love to share will be coming in January.
Besides affecting my blogging schedule, this surgery has also affected my writing schedule. This means the next novelette in The Nocturnal Surrender Series, Midnight Confessions, will be released a little later than I’d planned. Instead of late December or early January, I’d say it will be at least a month or so later. All depends on my recovery.
This book is already written and has gone through one round of edits, but the rest of the edits will have to wait until after the surgery. Luckily the cover design and formatting are already done so nothing else will delay it.
Of course, this will also push back the release of the first novel in the series, Night Therapy. I had hoped for a spring release, but it will now most likely be in the summer.
Too bad life has to get in the way. But I’d rather get this taken care of before it gets worse. Thanks again for all the well-wishes and thanks for your patience. I promise it will be worth the wait.
